This is one of those times where inspiration is derived from procrastinating until the last minute. One of the many times.
Also possibly the only craft that required my nearly forgotten knowledge of calculating ratios for limiting reactants of chemical reactions. Because the die-cuts had different sized circles on each I had to do the math to find the least amount of paper to make enough ducks. And yet I never have been able to figure out the “how big a garden can you make with x amount of fencing” problem.
The best part of this craft was seeing what the kids thought all the pieces would make, and then seeing how they adjusted my design for their own ducks. Kids! They’re pretty smart.
